site plans and other rambles

day two of blog post! everyone give it up for day two of blog post! writing this one out in docs first, so hopefully it’ll be mildly more coherent than me just dumping text into the html lol.

anyways, i’m hoping that over the next few days i can get a few assets or whatever done for the site! i need to figure out how to put in a favicon (this is how i learned that word) and make a few little transparent drawings. super exclusive sneak peak sketches for anyone who’s reading this

i have a separate drawing i’d like to try finishing today though first. nothing super exciting, just a rouxls standing there with a palette i found, but it’s something. it’s kind of terrifying to me how long the brainworms over that freak have lasted for me. it’s been wellll over a year at this point…. and i still don’t have anything out with the many aus ive been brainstorming for well over a year as well -_- the main one’s i’d like to work on is the one centered around my precanon ideas for him and my human au. the precanon au is the one i have the most concreteness around at the moment but also kind of the one i’m most terrified of showing. lot of heavy topics and i worry a lot that the characterization will be off and that people won’t like it or will think i’m stupid or even insensitive for making it. a lot of these fears also mean i don’t really have much made for it in general, other than a handful of scribbles for my teen rouxls design. i should at least try and start working on some precanon designs for other characters in the au soon, i guess, plus a couple of ocs (though none are all that important to the au…but i think it could be fun haha).

human au also has more heavy topics in it but not quite to the point that i feel like it’s too much for me to start sharing. main problem there is both working out more designs (i have a lot of vague ideas but struggle with a lot of them to make it look how i think it does in my mind) as well as…actually making a story for it, lol. i have a vague idea that the equivalent to visiting different dark worlds could be basically a fun gang roadtrip LOL but that’s not a ton to work off of that would be that interesting, plus with rouxls being the character i have the most brain worms about i’m most interested in what to do with him. maybe he just fuckign tags along on the way to Cyber City or something kinda like in canon. who knows

also, off of the au conversation, i’ve started putting together christmas lists lately! getting back into doing traditional art means this is the easiest making one has been in a while lmfao. i really like the feel of the one pitt artist pen i got at michaels the other day, but it’s too big for the smaller drawings i do… also it was five fucking dollars for a single pen and i feel bad asking for any more lmao. so hopefully christmas can be my chance for more of those. i’ve also been missing my glitter gel pens i had around fifth grade (i found them but theyre pretty much all dead. and smell weird) so i’d like to get some of those as well. plus, more utdr stuff! i pretty much have a set wardrobe of exclusively that merch, one kings island hoodie, and like two other graphic tees that i can wear shirts-wise without feeling like something is wrong and i need to stop wearing whatever it is immediately so more options there are always good.

think thats about it for discussions today. i have GOT to get to finishing up this art stuff and ignoring important schoolwork! thanks for reading :)
